Mathematical Models of Endocrine Systems
نویسنده
چکیده
A mathematical model is proposed to allow expressive representation of endocrine systems by graphic means. The differential equations exactly describing the system can be formulated easily and automatically by the graphic model. Different kinds of software are supposed to solve these equations easily. Chaotic operational range can be found by fitting the parameters of equations. The results can account for some endocrine diseases and would be able to help the therapy.

Pulse-modulated Feedback in Mathematical Modeling and Estimation of Endocrine Systems
This licentiate thesis is concerned with mathematical modeling and estimation of endocrine systems. Hence it also deals with systems biology, a research field that has gained a lot of interest during the last decades. Systems biology can be seen as the systematic study of complex interactions in biological systems, mainly by methods from dynamical systems theory. The thesis addresses the testos...
متن کاملSolving large systems arising from fractional models by preconditioned methods
This study develops and analyzes preconditioned Krylov subspace methods to solve linear systems arising from discretization of the time-independent space-fractional models. First, we apply shifted Grunwald formulas to obtain a stable finite difference approximation to fractional advection-diffusion equations. Then, we employee two preconditioned iterative methods, namely, the preconditioned gen...
متن کاملNew Applications on Linguistic Mathematical Structures and Stability Analysis of Linguistic Fuzzy Models
In this paper some algebraic structures for linguistic fuzzy models are defined for the first time. By definition linguistic fuzzy norm, stability of these systems can be considered. Two methods (normed-based & graphical-based) for stability analysis of linguist fuzzy systems will be presented. At the follow a new simple method for linguistic fuzzy numbers calculations is defined. At the end tw...
متن کاملLocal and global analysis of endocrine regulation as a non-cyclic feedback system
To understand the sophisticated control mechanisms of the human’s endocrine system is a challenging task that is a crucial step towards precise medical treatment of many disfunctions and diseases. Although mathematical models describing the endocrine system as a whole are still elusive, recently some substantial progress has been made in analyzing theoretically its subsystems (or axes) that reg...
متن کاملSymplectic and symmetric methods for the numerical solution of some mathematical models of celestial objects
In the last years, the theory of numerical methods for system of non-stiff and stiff ordinary differential equations has reached a certain maturity. So, there are many excellent codes which are based on Runge–Kutta methods, linear multistep methods, Obreshkov methods, hybrid methods or general linear methods. Although these methods have good accuracy and desirable stability properties such as A...
